Begin with the invitation wording and ceremony details
Hindu wedding customs vary between families, regions and communities. Share the exact names, host introductions, blessings and event terminology you want to use. If you want to include an auspicious time or other ceremony-specific detail, use information confirmed by your family or officiant.
A useful first brief separates the invitation wording from the practical event information. This helps the design give both the right emphasis: a welcoming opening for your guests and a clear place to find dates, times, addresses and directions.
- Family-approved names, host introductions and invitation wording
- Confirmed ceremony date and any specific ceremony time
- A complete function list with separate venue information
- Approved symbols, blessings or other cultural references
Choose motifs for your celebration, not a generic template
Tell us whether you prefer a traditional or contemporary design, and which symbols or visual references have meaning for your family. You may wish to discuss a Ganesha motif, temple-inspired detail, florals, a mandap setting or an entirely minimal approach. None is assumed to suit every Hindu wedding.
Provide approved text for any blessing, verse or regional-language wording. If you need multiple languages or a particular script, discuss fonts, layout and feasibility before the quotation. Your family’s review of the final wording is an important part of the approval process.
Give each wedding function its own clear place
Your brief might include an engagement, mehendi, haldi, sangeet, wedding and reception, or a different sequence altogether. List only the functions you are actually hosting. Include the start time and venue for each, and decide whether all guests should receive every detail.
When guests move between venues, separate map links and concise arrival notes can make the invitation more useful. For a destination wedding, identify the venue’s local time and supply any travel guidance you want to include. Test the completed invitation on a phone before sending it to family groups.

Three celebrations.
Three personal expressions.
A little clarity
Your invitation questions, answered.
Can the e-invite include a muhurat or muhurtham time?
Yes, a specific ceremony time can be included using the terminology and information approved by your family or officiant. We present the details you supply; we do not calculate auspicious dates or times.
Can a Hindu wedding invitation include haldi, mehendi or sangeet details?
Yes. Share your actual function list, dates, times and venues so the invitation can be scoped with separate event sections. Discuss any guest-list differences before placing private or smaller gatherings on a shared invitation page.
Can I choose whether religious symbols appear?
Yes. Symbols, blessings and decorative motifs follow your preferences. A traditional visual direction and a minimal contemporary design can both be discussed; no religious symbol is automatically required in every project.
Can my family approve the wedding invitation wording before launch?
Yes. Supply your preferred text and nominate the person who will confirm names, translations and ceremony details. Review the final invitation before sharing it, with revisions and the approval process agreed in the proposal.
