Make room for every function

An Indian wedding brief may include an engagement, mehendi, sangeet, wedding ceremony and reception, while another celebration may follow a completely different tradition. Your event sequence should drive the invitation structure. We do not assume that every couple follows the same customs.

Prepare a simple event sheet: function name, date, time, venue and the information guests should receive. If a function has a different guest list, discuss how those details should be shared rather than automatically placing everything on one public page.

  • List every event in the order guests will attend
  • Confirm family names and the invitation host wording
  • Use full venue addresses and verified Google Maps links
  • Approve the ceremony text, translations and final spelling
02

Personal wording and language planning

Family names, honorifics, blessings and the order of introductions can be as important as colour and imagery. Send the exact invitation copy you want to use, and explain any wording or symbols that need special care.

If you need more than one language, discuss that requirement before requesting a quotation. Share approved translations and identify who will proofread them. Language layout, fonts and the amount of text affect the design; availability and the final approach are confirmed in the proposal.

03

Ready for WhatsApp, ready for your guests

A link is easy to share with family groups, but the invitation still needs to work well after someone opens it. Keep the event schedule clear, make directions easy to find and review the page on the phones your guests use.

For guests travelling from another part of India or from abroad, include practical information in the brief: the venue locality, the applicable local time, and any arrival notes you want to communicate. Travel bookings and accommodation arrangements should be handled through your chosen providers; an invitation can present the guidance you supply.

A little clarity

Your invitation questions, answered.

Do you design wedding e-invites for clients in India?

Yes. Digitaliz Labs welcomes custom wedding invitation enquiries from clients in India. Share your wedding date, function list, venue locations and design references to discuss a proposal remotely.

Can I include an engagement, wedding and reception in one invitation?

Yes. Different functions can have their own event details within the agreed design. Confirm whether all guests should see every function before deciding on a single shared invitation.

Can you include regional-language wedding wording?

Tell us which languages you need and provide approved wording or translations. We will discuss fonts, layout and feasibility in the brief. Translation services and support for a particular language should be confirmed in the proposal rather than assumed.

Do you create digital invites for occasions other than weddings?

Yes. The service includes enquiries for engagements, birthdays, housewarmings, Holy Communion, get-togethers, corporate events, grand openings and other special occasions. The design and features are tailored to the agreed brief.
